LAYTONVILLE, California – The 21st Annual Kate Wolf Music Festival [KWMF], announces its Phase One artists, which includes award-winning headliners Harry Belafonte, Trampled By Turtles, Dave Alvin & Phil Alvin with The Guilty Ones, Mavis Staples, and up-and-comers The Head and The Heart. The four-day music and camping festival will take place on June 23rd – 26th, 2016 at the beautiful Black Oak Ranch in Laytonville, California. It is one of Northern California’s most loved summer events and has been named one of Fest300’s “15 Transformational Festivals to Attend.” Early Bird tickets are on sale now through March 27, 2016 at www.katewolfmusicfestival.com

The 2016 KWMF will feature four stages of music, special song sets with unique artist pairings, Yoga and Tai-Chi, music workshops, open mic sessions, KidZone Stage, swimming hole, and more. It is a celebration of a variety of musical styles in a warm and friendly community environment that attracts multiple generations of festival-goers and campers. “It is a mellow gathering, where attendees not only enjoy listening to world class music but enjoy playing music together amongst themselves” says Cloud Moss, producer, “while sharing stories and songs at the nightly Hobo Jungle campfire down by the river, partaking in a variety of workshops, sampling the many dishes from the large number of food vendors, or wandering the magical natural grounds of the ranch.”

We are incredibly excited about this year’s Phase One artist announcement, which includes: Harry Belafonte, Trampled By Turtles, The Head and The Heart, Mavis Staples, The Wood Brothers, Ruthie Foster, Dave Alvin & Phil Alvin with The Guilty Ones, Eric Bibb, Chris Smither, The Mike + Ruthy Band, Clan Dyken, and Joe Craven and his band filling out the first dozen. In the coming weeks we will be announcing 30+ more acts, along with our Sunday headliners.
