San Geronimo

San Geronimo is unapologetically Americana music. Bringing together the sounds of country, folk, R&B and blues with a strum of rock ‘n roll. These inuences merge into a diverse range of catchy original music that will make you sing along, dance and “Hear the Sound.”

Formed out of a collaboration between ve diverse musicians now residing in the San Francisco Bay area: Jeremy D’Antonio – lead vocals, guitar; Dan Luehring – drums; Dave Zirbel – backing vocals, pedal steel, guitar; Darren Nelson – lead vocals, guitar Brian Rashap – backing vocals, bass.

2013 saw the addition of Darren and Brian to the group while going by the name Tiny Television. After performing together for most of 2013, the band’s sound began to transform. With this, they decided to change the name to acknowledge the new formation while giving the band a fresh start which is San Geronimo.

Pulling from an already established catalog of original music by Jeremy, the band also incorporates Darren’s growing list of rock’n roll inuenced ballads while still throwing in an occasional unexpected cover. With enough material to easily ll a 120 minute set, you’re guaranteed to walk away with a few new songs stuck in your head. The group can take you on a musical trip, from their homage to early rock’n roll on “That’s Alright” to a dynamic “Get Down Lucille” and then leave you with an alt-country hit “Carolina” that showcases the pedal steel of Dave Zirbel.

With a strong live presence planned for 2014, they can currently be seen every Thursday night at San Rafael’s Terrapin Crossroads as well as the second Sunday of each month at Nicasio’s Rancho Nicasio.
